A staircase leads downwards.  you are in a dimly lit room, it is filled from floor to ceiling with useless junk....Toward the far wall you can see an untidy pile of chests.  you are in a fairly large broom cupboard, the walls are obscuredby rows of mops,brushes,buckets etcetera...A rough ladder leads up through a hatch n you are in a dim lit observatorywith an open hatch above throughwhich points a large telescope. To the S/West is a dark doorway. you are in the spare bedroom. Grimy lace curtains veil a smallwindow, and a shaft of sunlight illuminates a bed, a wardrobe and a sink.  It is totally dark...You cannot see..  You are in a dark room, the onlywindow shuttered. The flickeringglow of your torch glints off rows of dusty bottles...  You are at the south end of the main landing.A small staircase leads upwards,and a larger one, downwards.To the southeast is a large doorway You are at the north end of the main landing. To the south you can see the two staircases, and to the north you can see a largestained-glass window  You are in the mad music room. The floor is littered with dustyinstruments...To the south is a large open window.  You are in the museum room...Allaround are dusty glass cases....However, most appear to be emptyor contain yellowing pieces of paper. You are in a very dark and dingychapel, cobwebbed through years of disuse. To the south you can just about make out some kind ofgallery.  You are in the north end of a dimly lit chapel. A rickety staicase leads up intothe gloom.  You are inside the necromancers magic room. On all sides there are tables littered with glass vessels, skulls etc. To the westis an open hatch.  You are in the necromancer's bedchamber, you see a bed,alongsidewhich is a small ornate bedside table....To the east is a large mirror.  You are in the main hallway.The walls are lined with ancestral portraits.....A huge staircase sweeps upwards.......A crystal chandelier hangs down. You are in a large cloakroom, a forest of pegs line the walls. The floor is a marble msaic.  You are in a vaulted kitchen. Onthe walls hang huge copper pans,kettles, and a variety of wickedlooking kitchen utensils. 4 You are in a narrow arched tunnelway leading between two cobbled courtyards. ( You are in an enormous gateway leading out into a large cobbledcourtyard to the north, gardens lie to the south, set into both sides are small doors.= You are in a large uncomfortablelooking sitting room, many stiffback chairs are placed around a large heraldic iron fireplace.  You are in the study. The wallsare panelled.....The floor is ofpolished wood...South is a largeTo the south is a large bookcasefull of musty books. +You are in a cobbled courtyard. High walls dotted with windows are on all sides. To the south is is an archway,and up and to the north is a balconyYou are in a panelled dining room, its main feature is a hugeoak table and chairs, the table is still covered with the debrisof the final meal. Suddenly, as if in a dream, the instruments all rise up from thefloor and start to play of theirown accord. The sound is a ghastly cacophanybut strangely bewitching....Youfeel yourself drawn forwards andthrough the window..............You fall, down & down.xYou are in the music room. The Instruments are strewn about thefloor....To the south is a largewindow, while to the east lies asmall door. You are in the gloomy gallery ofthe dingy chapel....To the southis a dark wood balustrade. The rickety wooden floor creaks dangerously. you are on a balcony overlookingthe main courtyard of the house.To the south is an ornate stone balustrade. It Says:- "the land around lies water bound, eye of fish shall grant your wish"You are in a large underground chamber. Passages lead N,S,E,W. The north passage is blocked with rubble, the one southward by an iron gate. "#41ou are in a dusty wine cellar with a low vaulted ceiling..On all sides are racks filled with dusty bottles !You are in a small preist's cell,the walls roughly hewn out of the rock.A simple altar sits by the east wall,covered by a layerof fine dust.. !The catacombs, passages lead offin all directions...By one wall is a dusty skeleton....Above it,inscribed in some strange brown substance,"NO ESCAPE".%%%%%%You are in the catacombs........Passages lead in all directions. $%$%%%You are in a narrow passageway, roughly hewn through the hard rock. The tunnel curves to the west and south. A faint glimmer glows from the West. !'You are at the end of a roughly hewn passage. A bare light bulb glows above you, lighting up a myriad of cobwebs.. &You are at the south end of the servants courtyard. To the west is an archway, flanked by two evil-looking statues,set in bluestone, carrying pikes.+63You are at the base of a small tower.A dusty spiral staircase leads upwards,and to the west a doorway leads out of the gloom into a bright courtyard+*You are on the roof of a small tower,a small sun-drenched pavedarea. The view east is obscured by the top of a large tree...An opening leads down. ,)you are at the north end of the servants courtyard, which is a large cobbled area at the east wall of the house. )(Sitting on a branch in a large tree, surrounded by the foliage.To the west you can see the top of a small tower. *-At the north end of a big walledgarden, which is overgrown with yellowing weeds. Beside you is around concrete pond, scummy and and half empty. /,9Standing on a small pedestal in the centre of a concrete pond. It's half empty, the remaining water is stagnent and scummy. ----You are at the south end of an enormous walled garden,covered in scrubby yellowing weed and parched bushes.beside you is thesmouldering car. -You are in a forgotten garage, gloomy and filled with dusty cobwebs, large objects loom in the corners, and the floor is littered with junk. 1You are on an overgrown track outide a large but long disused garage with peeling green doors to your west. 27You are in a large area of roughgrass....To your west is a high brick wall 1As you walk past the statues,youhear a grinding sound. Whirling around you notice one pike has mysteriously broken loose. 8In a small forgotten room, the walls bare and unpained, while the floor is thick with dust. A staircase leads down, and a low opening west. 5!In a long carpenters workshop, the walls are made of roughly cut wooden planking...Benches full of tools, and the floor is litterd with sawdust. 4You are on a wide gravel pathwayskirting a high wall......To thenorth is a narrow arch which is flanked by two statues of blue stone, carrying pikes.37c=You are on a wide gravel path skirting a high stone wall. On either side are wild flowerbeds.The path turns a corner to the north.. 1c6and is falling towards your head..................The last thingyou notice in this world is thatthe statues are wearing strange,oriental masks... xIn the centre of the pond is a pedestal on which a statue used to stand. In the corner of the garden is a large oak tree. /The ancient car lurches straightthrough the wall into a large garden, Then bursts into flames,you are surrounded by fire !!! <You are inside the ancient car. In front of you is the dusty dashboard, above that a cracked cobwebby windscreen the flames take over the old carand envelope you...... xOn the drive, at the gateway of a large prestigious mansion. An archway is flanked by a pair of blue stone statues, carrying large stone pikes. 36>KYou are on the drive. Here it iscrossed by an ancient avenue, itis overgrown through long disuse =?A@You are on the ancient avenue, both sides are shadowed by tall trees. To the west is the ruins of an old house. cIc>You are on the ancient avenue, shadowed on both sides by tall trees.....To the west the path widens out onto a shingle beach. c>cJyou are on a long sweeping drivewhich is surrounded on two sideswith dense forest. >cBcOn the drive. To the south is a gatehouse, the gateway has a redstone statue either side....Bothare evil-looking........Both arecarrying stone pikes. Ac3cYou are in the gatehouse, in a room with whitewashed walls, it is used to store garden tools. A healthy earthy smell fill the air. EYou are in the gatehouse, in a room used as the squire's lodge.Desks and drawers line one wall,and against the other is a smallstaircase leading up. EFyou are in the arched gateway ofthe gatehouse...wooden doors areset into the sides of the passa-geway to the east and west. BDGCYou are in the room at the top of the gatehouse, totally bare, an arched and latticed window isto the north, behind a bunch of faded flowers. DWelcome to House of the Dead. You are on a deserted East/Road.To the north lies the estate of Kralek, the evil one. EHHyou can't chicken out yet!!!!! GYou are in the ruinous remains of the old house, in a roofless room with tumbledown stone walls,plants growing out between the crumbling stones. LN?You are on an expansive shingle beach, rimmed with thick forest.To the north is a lake with an island in the middle, on which there is a temple. W@UYou are on a spacious lawn, it is strangely neat after all thistime. The wall of the house is north, an unclimbable rockery isto the west. =cYou are in a crumbling roofless room, in the centre a large signreads"HARD HATS ONLY". A ricketyladder rests on the east wall. IYou are in the ruined remains ofa magnificent large room.Againstthe west wall leans a ladder,andin the centre of the room is a well with a winch.. You are in ruined room,the floorcovered with rubble and litter.Against the east wall is a stonerimmed hole in the ground, withsteps leading down. IPOPYou are in an huge room. High arched windows are all around. The floor is slippy with mud. The ground is soft, slippery and treacherous.. NYou are in a narrow labyrinth ofunderground tunnels, the walls of rough brick oozing water, thesteady, drip of water fills the air... SQNNYou are in a rough brick chamberdamp and musty,a rusty iron gridis set into the roof, harsh sun-light pours through the grill. Unsettling cell like..PYou swear you can see a masked cloaked figure high on the wall.Suddenly you hear a crash!!!!!! A shower of stones is falling towards you. SPxYou are in a huge brick kitchen,the high cieling is breached by a jagged hole through which a searing beam of sunlight pours. PYou are in an enormous stone- walled room..Suddenly a flicker of movement catches your eye.foran instant so short that you arenot too sure. RYou are on a rough muddy path leading north and west, curving around the lake, flanked by the forest. To the west the path is even muddier. JccaYou are on a rough muddy path, which goes north and east round the lake, it is flanked by the forest. To the east the path is even muddier. ]accyou are in a damp,rotting boat- house,the walls of dark wooden boarding...A doorway west leads out onto the jetty.. JXYou are on a dangerous rickety jetty, leading out into a wide blue lake.The water laps againsta small dinghy, bobbing gently next to the jetty.. WYou are in the boat, next to an unsafe looking jetty... XYou are in the boat, next to a small island on which stands a tiny white temple. [You are on a small grassy islandin the middle of a large lake...The sun is shining, the water gleaming deep blue. To the west is the small temple. \In a small grecian temple, whichis, surrounded by tall slender gleaming white pillars. North isan ornate altar, with a picture of a large fish on it.[You are standing in a sunny covethe golden sands lead down to the lapping waters of the lake. Paths lead south and west. cV^You are in a small clearing, it is surrounded by dense forest. To your west is a massive stone column, a door leading into It'sbase can be seen. c]_sYou are in a clearing surroundedby dark forest, in the centre ofthe clearing is a massive hollowoak tree, it has an opening in its side. ^c`cYou are inside the oak tree, in an amazingly large "room", the walls knarled in weird patterns.In the centre are the remains ofa bonfire. _as you walk further along the path,the ground gets muddier... Suddenly you are sinking! You struggle,but inexoriably sink into the quagmire.. xAt the bottom of the ladder, youare standing on a muddy floor, surrounded by waving fronds of seaweed..You are running out of air fast.... Jdyou are lost in thick,dense,darkforest..... ccccyou run out of air and have to surface... JYou are in the arched gateway ofthe gatehouse...locked doors arein the sides of the passageway to the east and west. BfWELL DONE! YOU HAVE SOLVED THIS ADVENTURE! For the first time indays you hear birdsong, running towards you are the villagers...wildly cheering.......You are on a flight of ancient stone steps, covered in the dustof ages, that lead down into theever deepening gloom. \hYou are on a dusty paved area onthe south bank of a underground river, which flows from a hole in the east wall, to a hole in the west...... igYou are on a stepping stone in the river.Ahead is another stoneand behind that, the far bank.Onthe east wall,by the next stone,is a statue with a bowjhYou step on the next stone, youhear a click then a twang....Thearrow from that statue's bow, isactivated, It's coming straight towards you!!!!!!!!!!!xYou are on the North bank of theunderground river,in a short butwide corridor that leads into a large hall......A doorway leads to the west... ljrYou are in a large, beautiful hall, filled with a forest of white marble pillars, the floor is a sea of mosiac patterns. mkYou are in a very dark corridor,with a floor of smooth stone. To the south, it leads out into a bright mosaic hall. lYou are on the roof of the housea large flat area with a squarehole in the centre,surrounded onall sides by battlements. A verystrong wind is blowingoSuddenly the is a particularily strong gust of wind,and before you have time to think,you are swept off the roof,over the low parapet,to your doom..xyou have finally reached your goal, you are in the tomb of thenecromancer, next to the golden sarcophagus.....,Beautiful, but exuding menace... tAs soon as the hammer touches the coffin,,,,,,it and its evil inhabitant and the oriental maskIt's wearing, crumble to a fine dust..... pYou are in a small dusty room. Standing by a spiral staircase.Looking up makes you feel dizzy....The staircase seems to go on forever..... ksYou are on the staicase, which still seems to go on forever. Toyour east is a doorway, through which searing sunlight pours.. ^urInside the necromancer's tomb, It's a large, majestic room, decorated in dusty gold.........To the west is a bottomless pit. wvYou are the top of an enormous stone column,trying hard not to look at the ground, seemingly miles below.... swhen I said a bottomless pit, I meant a bottomless pit! You fall....down..and down..and down,anddown,and down,and down,and down,and down..............kYou are in a vast mausoleum, a huge crypt full of dusty tombs.
