It now branches off to a bridge. ? 1 Take path to bridge. ? 2 Leap frog over the walls The bridge spans a deep gorge with a fast and dangerous river. The path continues beyond the bridge. ? 1 Continue along the path. ? 2 Return the way you came. ? 3 Stop for a while and go fishing. By some very smelly dustbins there is a door to the kitchens. There is also a small gate leading to a very steep and muddy track through the forest. ? 1 Enter kitchen. ? 2 Go through gate. You have slid most of the way down the muddy track and you are dirty cross and fed up. ? 1 Climb back up the path. ? 2 Stop for a while and go fishing. This vast and smelly kitchen is no place for a frog. There are doors to the dustbins, to the dining room and to a courtyard.  On the stove is a large jug of hot coffee. The cook is standing in the doorway looking out. ? 1 Push the cook outside. ? 2 Go into the dining room. ? 3 Go outside to the dustbins. ? 4 Pick up coffee. There is a car parked. It is very smokey and noisy. There are weasel and hamster guards everywhere. There is a green door to the courtyard and a red one at the other end. ? 1 Go out into the courtyard. ? 2 Creep through the red door. ? 3 Give the guards coffee.  There's a door to HAMSTERCHIEF'S office, a door into the guards' room, and steps down into darkness. ? 1 Go back to the Guards' room. ? 2 Barge into the chiefs room. ? 3 Brave the dark steps. A large main hall has imposing doors leading outside. There are other large doors leading to the Grand Hall. There are several other smaller doors. ? 1 Go into the Dining room. ? 2 Move outside. ? 3 Try the communications room. ? 4 Enter the Grand Hall. ? 5 Go through a door next to the dining room. There are RADIO HAMsters and typing tortoises all over the place. Tishou glowers at you. ? 1 Walk boldly on into the Chief's room. ? 2 Beat a hasty retreat to the Hall. = You can hear the noise of T.H.U.G.S from downstairs. There are two doors close together and one other opposite. ? 1 Go downstairs. ? 2 Take the door marked private ? 3 Try the door marked library ? 4 Go through the opposite door A small landing with stairs up and down has a high window. ? 1 Climb through the window. ? 2 Go upstairs. ? 3 Go downstairs. A narrow passageway with doors to two interrogation rooms. ?@ This is a small garden by the parapet overlooking the path to the river. There are walls on two sides. Above the Grand Hall is the library which has a flat roof. The other wall is very high and has an open window. ? 1 Go through the high window. ? 2 Use your grappling hook to climb onto the library roof. You see that this was once a magnificent ballroom. It is now tatty. There are large windows with an open one to the garden. Each side of the main doors is a staircase leading up. ? 1 Climb through the window. ? 2 Go through the double doors. ? 3 Go up the W staircase. ? 4 Go up the E staircase. There are several broken pillars lying about. High above you is a window. ? 1 Try to climb up to the window using the pillars. ? 2 Go back down the rope to the garden. The panelled library has a gilt clock on the wall between two doors. ? 1 Go through the east door. ? 2 Go through the west door. ? 3 Take some books ? 4 Take some newspapers There are stairs going down, a door to the de-coding room and two doors close together. ? 1 Go downstairs. ? 2 Enter the de-coding room. ? 3 Try the door marked private. ? 4 Try the door marked library. A narrow corridor leads to two doors. 456You alert the T.H.U.G.S at the main gate. They take you to Hamsterchief... You get lost in the forest, stumble about and eventually find yourself back at the village. You forgot the guards have lunch at this time and you burst in on them. There are fierce animals in pits You cannot get across. You have fed the animals recently and they are still quiet. The T.H.U.G.S realize you are an intruder. Hamsterchief is at his desk. $Immediately you are surrounded by T.H.U.G.S. You notice that all the Radio Hamsters have white coats, and you feel that you will be noticed without one. Better get out quick.  When you were in the kitchen the cook thought you were the fishmonger. A J.H.O.K.E arrives and asks you to take some fish to the cook. Without a white coat you do not look like a scientist. A J.H.O.K.E. spots you, and sends you to get a coat. There is a bare room with a table and chairs. There is only the one door. There is a room with a special chair with leather straps to tie someone in. There are a number of bright spotlights in the ceiling. You hope that Mole has not already been here. There is only one way out! Someone hears you and shouts 'Hey! Put that back.' Run off before they see you.  You bump into a J.H.O.K.E. $You have climbed in through the window of Mole's lab. Mole is eating his lunchtime sandwiches. Luckily his weasel assistant and guard are in the store room. Quickly you explain to Mole that his cover has been blown and that he must escape with you now The weasel has gone to look for Mole. You had better escape quickly. This is Tishou's room. You are lucky it is empty. The ferret working on the de-coding computer sees that you do not have a white coat. He sends you to get one. The room is full of ferrets who ignore you.
